How to disable the page?

I was wondering how to use Javascript to disable the page, but have a little pop-up come up. Facebook is known for doing this and Myspace has copied it too.

I'm not sure, but you could try using View Source on a page that does this, you should be able to see the code in the source of the page.

do you mean something like modal windows comes up in the page and a page itself goes grey?!

I didn't understand what you mean but if you want to disable pop-ups you can use any pop-up blocker .
