The new system basically means you have to do more posts but it will only take the points you have away meaning you can rack up 4 months of points and then come on here periodically to show your still alive. But the POINTS SYSTEM is malfuntioning, because we all seem to have 1000000 friggen points... Admin Buddy, I don't know what this is but, my website also has 20 Gigs of Space and 200 Gigs of bandwidth, it is fine now.. but I seriously think your script or something is on the verge of disasture. Just a friendly heads up.

Yah, that alloting of 20Gigs of space and 200Gigs of bandwidth was my typo. But i had figured out yesterday itself and resetted everybodys accounts to 200MB space and 2Gigs of bandwidht. Please check because now my records show that is all perfect as per the new settings.
Yes, i am facing a very serious problem with the points system. Dont exactly know why suddenly around a 41 of you are getting almos 10000001.2 points. So as of right now i am trying to figure out an indirect way of rewards/points which i hope will be up soon.

Yes, the points will be resetted as before i.e.after every 30 days from the day your recieved your hosting account (not from the day when you joined the forums).
And now you have to earn 40points not 20points as before. Well although the number of posts required are the same as before only difference being that previously you used to get 0.5points per post, now you get 1 point per post. So no big difference

Blah, lol... Well basically before we were getting 1 point per new post, and .4 for each reply post we made. Then was getting some points for the posts in our sections. He upgraded the system, and decided instead of making us post 40 posts for 20 smokybucks, we would post 40 posts for 40 smokybucks... so basically we get to post 20 times a month to get our hosting... in which here is a suggestion for admin.
Limit your smokybucks payout to a certain limit per month you can get. so they can't over run thier smokybucks and skip out on the forums. :P People keep this in mind, SHAdmin does not have to supply this service and some members I have noticed stack up thier points and skip out on the forums to have thier hosting paid for. Well he supplies this service for free and his forums are advertized. So don't stack up your points and skip out, this is hurting this forum, we need your attendance to keep this site up, so do everyone a favor and stick around, we have all sorts of fun.

Well, i dont know if this is what you mean TheCrymsonLegeds but if so, then there is still some confusion ou there. Now that i am having to find a new scirpt to manage your points, it doesnt allow me to limit the number of posts per month that anybody can make. Also you have to earn atleast 40points per month for the advanced package and not 20 points (although it the same amount of posts as before i.e.40posts). The initial 20 points are just the setup fees which apply for both the packages.
Yes, the only new rule out here to feel that the members are still alive is that everybody must come and contribute in the forums atleast once in every 20 days otherwise your account will be frozen/suspended and eventually deleted if still inactive. So unlike before now you have an inactivity period of 20 days. This will help me eliminate those members who just collect a few hundred points and just dissapear. Hope this rule works and i wont have to be more strict and make the inactivity limit to 10 days. Hope all you guys cooperate:)
