help transfer files

I'm planning to move my exisitng website in another host to my hosting account, and also keep a backup of my website in another free webspace.

All my accounts have ftp access and they are real hosting accounts, is there any way I can transfer the files from one of my account to another without downloading them to my computer, as I've a very slow connection. So I cannot imagine of downloading and then uploading.

Plaese provide me any scripts or service or any method using which I can transfer my files from one host to another.

I dont know of any scripts which will do this thing efficiently enough, but you cannot do it right from the server's end, as usually shared hosting accounts (including smokyhosts.com) do not get ssh access.

And ofcourse, if the complete account has to be moved, including your email accounts and absolutely everything, then you can ask your host to do it from the server's end.

thanx admin admin, i was just asking to keep a backup of my databases in another host. I'll bettr download and then upload.
