yeah, i think the sameKen wrote:I use both. It really depends upon what you need.
the thing i like the most of Linux is that you can customize everything, you really choose what you want and what not, and it can be faster, not so many viruses or not viruses at all for it and you can learn a lot using Linux or anything unix based, and windows... i think windows 98 was Microsoft's prime, each new version gets bigger and require more hardware, you can use Linux in your oldest harware, and if you dont know how powerful and Linux can be, a lot of web pages and servers of any kind run on Linux

Well, this is a matter of oppinion and is very controversial. Linux, is better in a couple ways as in, but not limited to, security; there are fewer users for this operating system so there are very few people to wright viruses, compatiblity; you can develop cross-platform programs on Linux very easily, anti-mainstream; people like having that feeling that they are going against the crowd, so they get Linux. The main problem with Linux is that it is not very user-friendly to those not very knowledgable in the computer field because it is mainly command prompt based. So, if you cannot handle the full DOS included with Windows then do not even attempt to use Linux. Also, Linux is free so that makes it really exciting.
