A direct admin missing feature

Post by mohammed »

Hello

For me , this is the first time to use Direct Admin

I use to deal with cpanel , in cpanel there was fantastico to install scripts like phpbb 2 or phpnuke , .....etc

I cannot do this in my Direct Admin control panel

To admin , is there any way to make this available?

I've searched for this and found a script called Installatron , it works on DA like Fantastico on Cpanel

Unfortunately , it's not free .. I need an answer about this issue please

thanks

I have seen that package, but as far as i think, some script like installatron is not any mandatory feature to make things easy. The installation of the new php scripts has become quite easy enough to not to invest in installatron and better make use of those funds for something else.

Either ways, i shall look into the possibility of getting installatron if the funds permit but since the past few days, the ad revenue has gone down quite a bit and that doesnt look encouraging enough to buy an installatron license.

i understand that point

you have the rights to do this or not according to available funds

the main benfit of scripts like installatron is it redues upload time of any script

anyway , there's no urgent matter to use this script

cheers

now all php scripts have very easy installation, and scripts size is not very big, so i do not se the point to invest into such scripts...
