Quit with all the emails....

i keep gettin emails from smokyhosts.. getting kinda annoying >_> doesnt everyone else agree? i guess a reminder of it is okay like once or twice a week. but once or twice a day is annoying......

i havnt, i only got 1 to tell me i had my hosting approved, 1 to remind me of something..(which i forgot) and one to tell me that i was added to the hosted usergroup.

Yo, ronin, maybe you have your settings in your account set to send you an e-mail every time someone a)posts in a thread in which you have posted. b) recieve a private message. or c) both. those can add up pretty fast. that may be your problem.

man, when you signe up, you asked to get email notification everytime someone posts a reply, in a thread that you are subscribed to, when i registered i just asked to get email from admin, now i only get emails, when i have a new message in my inbox, plus i just upgraded my hotmail account to hotmail plus, so i got 2 gb of space, and i don't really care nomore, about spam and all that shit

You can change all of that in the CP. **** on Profile in the smokyhosts.com banner for this forum and you'll see all those options you had to choose yes/no for when you registered.

yes you change this in your account settings
and before posting there is checkbox labelled:
"Notify me when a reply is posted"
uncheck it and you won't get that email
