Try using Notepad ++ for simplicity!

Yea, Notepad ++ is very good, but I think Dreamweaver better.
Dreamweaver + Photoshop ok for one simple but nice site.

i suggest Dreamweaver, also Adobe Photoshop, they have a good service, complete tools and easy to use.
