Points?

This points for post thing is kinda confusing me. Is there anywhere i can check my points? And can i not start my site until i have 20 of them?

Everybodys points are displayed under their username in the left side of every post that they have made. You can also check your points total in the memberlist.

For requesting hosting, you need atleast 20points, there is no way round it.

I wasn't looking for a short cut just looking to see if the points are taken right when you start the site or at one time of the month for every site.

The points are taken from the day you get your hosting account. After that onwards they will be taken at an interval of 30 days cycle from the day you got your hosting account.

To be more precise :
As soon as you get your hosting account : 20 points deducted
Suppose you request hosting today : No additional points deducted
From today after 30 days : If you opt for beginers package, no points will be deducted in monthly cycle but if you opt for the advanced pacakge, your account will be deducted with 40points (if you didnt take any upgrades) every month. Thank you for all you help. Iis it possible to go with the basic until i find i need advanced or is it once i choose one of them im stuck with it?

No, you are free to choose any package and are free to upgrade/downgrade your packages as and when you feel or want to. The only thing that will effect is that whenever you make a package change request (between beginers and advanced pacakges) you will have to pay the 20points setup fees each and every time you make a change request.
