referral system

is there a smokyhosts referrel system or a unique url where i can send people to sign-up and i somehow get credit for this?

Not atleast at present, because doing so will bring in too many spam/fraud signups, and i want to keep smokyhosts forums as clean as possible, even if it means there will be a fewer members, but there will be more active members than if i allow to gain points by referring others.

understood... i see this logic. thats why i asked, it would be easy to bring traffic, but not necesarily quality/active members.

is there a "who referred you" question when u sign-up at least? that would work.. please write the name of the member who referred you.

I can see both sides maybe it should be you get points for being refered by members with a certain activty level after x amount of time.
