Requesting Ruby on Rails support

Post by Squider »

Ruby on Rails (http://www.rubyonrails.com) has been around for quite a while already. It has been adopted by many web developers. When coding in Rails you can actually separate the implementation (dynamic code) from the design (HTML/CSS). When creating new sites wouldn't you like to make it as easy as possible to manage them?

In addition, Rails saves some bandwidth as it makes it easier to make dynamic web pages (AJAX).

So I'm suggesting to add support for RoR to the hosting.

SmokyHosts.com has already been offering "Ruby on Rails" since August to all our reseller hosting package subscribers.

Depending on the demand, i may or may not offer this feature to the free hosting members as yet.

Very cool. RoR is the future of good websites. Hopefully this gets implemented on the free sites as well.
