WoW [World of Warcraft]
WoW is the largest MMORPG in the world at the moment. It has hundreds of quests for you to use and play and thousands of things to do. I think an expansion of the game is coming out soon (or is out). I have played it, but for me, even though it has superb graphics and great quests and too many things to do, I got a bit bored. I personally found it boring after awhile, but a lot of people dont, some have been playing World of Warcraft since it first started a couple of year ago. My friends have been playing it for about a year and still talk about it everyday as if it is a second life. Its really a great game, one of the best so far, thats why it is the largest game in the world at the moment. I am waiting for the next big thing right now. :P

For screenshots of the game etc, goto worldofwarcraft.com and you will see how different it is compared to Diablo. Now about the free trials, I think the free 10 day trials are only if you buy the game and you get 1 month free, because World of Warcraft is a pay to play game, a certain amount per month aswell as the cost of buying the game.
Private servers are free or should be because they are illegal. If they are charging you to play them then they will will be in big trouble if Blizzard decides to strike. Most servers ask for donations but there is no need to pay. So if you are looking for a private server then, it should be free, but expect quite a few bugs in the game to come.
I have been reading a few discussions regarding private servers. Some companies allow them, and some like Blizzard do not. However, most people say you should be okay under the law to play private servers with a legal copy of Wow. Though it is a grey area, meaning they are not sure about what could happen. There are many wow servers out there, its your choice whether or not to follow this path. Now owning and operating a WoW server is fully illegal, or owning a pirated copy of the WoW game is illegal.
