How dare you put punk with emo I dont like you jsut for that reason. emo should never be seen as an offshoot of punk.

And I never listened to them once. Mostly in girls AIM profiles or myspaces, followed by "<33333333!!@!>" or "&hearts" if they are on Myspace and are tricky little girls stealing other litle girls HTML tags.

Yeah, honestly. Punk kids HATE "Emo", though not one punk kid I have talked to can name an emo band or descirbe how emo sounds. Emo is not a genre. I can call a kid "emo" for talking about how depressed he is, but I can't call a band emo because I don't know what the **** emo music is.

If I had to choose one of them, Taking Back Sundays new stuff is decent.

Heres a punk to talk to, Emo is a form of music witch is a offshoot of punk rock(omg). THis music generalyu discribes the lyrics of depresion, death, loss, regret. This music if filled with icons witch dress 90% of the time like **** and are generaly sought as a incompatable person of society.

If some one calls you emo for being depressed then it applys because they are talking/singing about how they cant handel life and plainly the word Emo is just a diss.

So go get a girlfriend stay with her untill she dumps you and Write a god dam song about it.

Honestly if you cant take life by the balls(pardon my french) and hang on for the rind then you might aswell cut your wrists for all I care.
