Baldurs Gate II

I am thinking of buying Baldurs Gate II, Shadows of Amn for my computer. Can anyone tell me if it is worth buying?

If you're into involving RPGs then it is a great game. It has a huge replay value because there are so many differant classes of character to choose from and so many side quests to explore. It's difficult to master as well so don't be put off if you die often. I couldn't get past the first dungeon for a good while until I read up on general tactics tutorials.
