indie

I've begun to really get into indie music lately. Some of my newest favorite bands include The Arcade Fire, Deerhoof, The Rosebuds, Mogwai, and many others.

Mostly any music that has a melody I like. But the ones that seem to follow always are:

Techno, Classical, Pop, Game Music

I like them because techno is fast and upbeat where I can sue it for my hand sports. And Classical just seems to fit the Medieval age. In movies like King Arthur, or Lord of the Rings, it accompanies it quite well. Pop I like just because sometimes the singer has a really good voice, and the overall feel to the pop music in the background. Game music I like because it fits, although a lot fo game music is under classical...

I used to listen to a lot of emo and loud distorted rock, but nowadays I prefer singer-songwriters, country, folk-rock, and jazz.

Hehe. I must be getting old.
