Can we get like more avatar choices please SHadmin? Like the choices are kind of slim... and can we upload our own avatars too? Hopefully you can change this.

I see there is a lot of demand for more avatars....
Well, i shall find some more avatars and add them up into the database soon. However i will not allow custom upload of avatars.

I would be glad to donate some of my webspace for your uploading of avatars if you found a way to get r done. Let me know if there is anything possible.

If anyone has some good collection of avatars, please PM me saying so and i shall reply with an email id to send them to me. However, please remember to either give a link to the avatars from where you have taken that collection, or if it is your original work, then send in the .psd files too.

Like I had suggested... I would be happy to host space for uploaded avatars, I wouldn't matter.. I don't use all my space anyway. Is there any possible way you could link the uploaded avatars to a specific folder on my space to your board.

I don't know how it would work though, unless there is a way for me to permit writing as an anonomous user for that folder. If you know of anyway just let me know so that people could upload avatars of thier own

The only way he would is if there is a way to link it to my space on my site. I do not know if there is a way or not I understand where he is coming from though, with the not allowing people to upload avatars.

Actually, why not? You have tons of space lol... jw. Everything is your say here Mr. Admin, we all love you for providing this wonderful service. Which infact I love this place because it's the only place I can talk to Mr. Admin and have a decent conversation instead of them being rude and telling me to leave them alone ( has happend on other sites ).

People I know that are important

SHAdmin, great person and has great conversations when he is online lol. But his rare sitings are perfectly understandable and should never be complained about

SDDesign, the main guy who runs the show. He is a great person but I bugged him too much about a theme, I understand his reaction :P.

Technocrat from Nuke Evolution, great person, provides great help giving that your patient enough. He has a heavy work load and I bugged him too much :P.

I use to know some other really big people, but for now, Just SHAdmin which I will be glad to call my friend through out the time of Smokyhosts. Even if I don't have hosting.

This is really touching... you talk to SHadmin in conversations? I wish I could but he's in a different time zone, probably 11 hours ahead from Texas, USA...

I can't believe you just typed all that stuff ^^, and you actually knew Technocrat...ok I wonder why we can't upload our own avatars rly, SHadmin probably has tons of space... but what he says, goes..

This is a great, quality free hosting being provided on this site I must agree, so keep it up SHadmin.

Er... sorry, but what's the point of restricting pp not to use custom avatars ?

... The collections might be huge, but can not cover all the personalities of pp rite?
Ok, maybe it's hard to allow pp to upload their own avatar from their computers. What about if they enter the URL of their own avatars from some photo album sites such as Photobucket? You can restrict pp by control the images' size for example "No more than 100x100px" some site also control the remote file size like "no more than 30kb"
I think this is possible - an image from remote site will not hurt anybody - not the forum server, not the user's bandwidth. So why dont we?
