ipb is nice. vbulletin looks sweet, but i have no experience with it... maybe if i knew everything about it instantly i'd start using it.

Php or IPB.. whichever is good, and vBulletin is about the same as IPD I think.

i like nuked-klan forums because they're integrated with site so it matches really good. Since it has same features as phpbb it's a really good forums.

For the 3000th time, just try to common names out there, like SMF and phpBB. IPB and vBulletin are good too but you have to pay for them.

There are also lots of other free forums, just search for them. The best is the one that best fits your particular needs.

I think SMF is a really powerful system. Their intergrated package and update system is great, and it just plain works. Its a nice looking, easy to use board. After SMF I'd choose phpBB due to simplicty and ease of use. But installing mods is 10 times harder then with SMF... with SMF, no code to mess with.
