My site has been down for the past week. I have sent numerous messages to support but have had zero reply.
I'm posting here out of desperation as I need to get my email back up as all emails are currently bouncing back to sender.
Could somebody from smokyhosts please reply to this and tell me what is happening.
My domain is jerv.co.uk

If this is true then could you tell me why anybody that sent emails to me had them bounce back for over 10 days before I moved to another host (who I have had zero problems and zero downtime with so far).
Could you also tell me why myself and other people couldn't reach my or your website.
I didn't send email to support, I left numerous messages through the 'live' chat that nobody is ever on. Could you explain why these messages weren't received by you as I sent them through your site so you can't blame my email.

Ok, here is the explanation for all the problems.
You felt that you were not able to access the site at times because i had installed a firewall and blocked a set of IP's which were spamming from the server. I think yours were one of those IP's. However this was the thing done only from around the 5th of February to 25th of February. The other reason being, the firewall was also blocking any proxy IPs trying to access any website that was hosted on the server. This was realised a while later, and was taken care off.
However, now all the IP blocking rules have been removed and you should be able to access the site perfectly. You can always check our uptime with this link http://www.siteuptime.com/statistics.ph ... erId=29563 (As showing we had only 1 outage during february, and this was pre-informed to everyone)
Regarding the online chat system....We try to keep someone online at most of the times, however at times it is not possible due to the time lag. The complaint regarding the mail submitted by chat system is being dealt by, you are the first person to have reported it, we didnt know about this problem before, and will be taken care off.

During signup, everyone is given the contact emails as resellers@smokyhosts.com and support@smokyhosts.com for contacting in case of account/billing and support problems respectively.
I dont say that you were sending spam, but there was somebody sending spam and he was detected to be using an IP address that seems to be same like yours.
