Well, it really depends on what you want to do on the desktop ... Most softwares out there are Win32 apps .. and I'd choose Windows because of that, since I wouldn't want to go through the hassle of looking for the Apple version of the software ..

Well, for me, I'll need photoshop to design it and cut it ... teh I'll use dreamweaver to get everything together, and maybe at teh same time, try to code it in a way so that I can use the same thing over and over again for different pages.
