notepad++ is good but you can try adobe Dreamweaver for free for 30days with full functional.

there are many software are available on internet for editing of XML,XHTML,HTML,CSS,PHP..but the most flexible software is dreamweaver..u can download it from internet freely from its official site..

i'm use Notepad++
tiny size, easy layout, and the most important is.. Notepad++ is totally free :v
