It's probably not practical, but I thought it'd be nice if smokyhosts forums could be reached on 'SmokyPosts.com'

Why would you like this site to be reached to through smokyposts.com? More information could be the key factor in whether or not your idea is a success. Please give more info in why you think this idea would be a great one and what purpose it would serve to smokyhosts.

Well, like I said, it's probably not practical, but it would be a shorter url to the forums, and it does sound nice. But if SHAdmin doesn't like the idea, I don't mind, it's just a suggestion after all

I'm trying to tell you to give incentives on why this idea would be plausable. If you don't give any reasons for the suggestion then it doesn't run through to becoming practical simply because there is no reason for it.
For everything that happens there is a reason, I am just saying if you gave that reason then maybe it would happen.

I dont think that there would be any reason for putting up a seperate domain for the Smokyhosts forum.
Having a forum on a domain name increases the sites ranking in search engines, so this would be beneficial for SHAdmin to keep the forum in the same domain as now.

I suppose it wouldn't be bad because it could potentially bring in more customers and with a URL redirect then we could use both urls for it. I really don't see a point for it besides attemping to bring in more people for more business. I suppose when you enter Post to Host in the search engine it could come up as smokypost for a URL. I don't quite know though I've never really seen the point for multiple URLs to the same exact website.
