I've been online a while now and i know how to use a search engine lol
anyways some times people know some good sites, so it doesnt hurt to ask around.
hello world is normally the basic php thing you come accross, that i have seen anyhows.

http://www.w3schools.com/default.asp Use it to learn basic, and then you can begin to learning from examples

http://www.htmlgoodies.com/ to learn my basic noob html skills. It's also the first link that comes up in google when you search "html"
