In Australia, we have 3G but you hear more about the new 'NextG' network instead (for info, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telstra#Telstra_Mobile)

i am from pakistan there are some companies that do not provide gsm so where 3G technology

Agreed, the 3G is not necessary but should be available in every country.

We didn't get 3g net and mobile too till now. Hope we will get it soon .

In India only BSNL & RELIANCE provide 3G but not in cell phone but as postpaid usb modem.

3g will be available in my country in june
