In Australia, we have 3G but you hear more about the new 'NextG' network instead (for info, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telstra#Telstra_Mobile)

i am from pakistan there are some companies that do not provide gsm so where 3G technology

In India only BSNL & RELIANCE provide 3G but not in cell phone but as postpaid usb modem.
