Less the site Loading

Guys,

Everytime i open Smokyhost i'm always tired of waiting to view the site.. its really slow loading.. i don't know why...

maybe it is my connection or what..
or maybe the images weight on our site is too much big..

Probably the images. Too many images and lots of traffic can be REALLY bad.

I acces the site in seconds always, never had problems with the image download or such.

I am new to this site and forum and i am using this from some time.. its quite fast.
just check out for spywares on ur comp.
cleaning the spywear might help u. try it.

if that the case maybe my PC had a problem...

well i had dual core processor
512 memory
512 video card

or the connection stuff..

what do you think guys?

Well, maybe more than the actuall pc specs, it will depend upon the connection speed with your ISP and your location.

Since the server on which the SmokyHosts.com website is hosted is located in US, the members from US will be able to access the site in split seconds, while others might take 1 to 3 seconds to load (if you have 'atleast' 256kbps connection)

i agree it is most likely your isp or spyware because my computers only running a Pentium three and a crappy assortment of chips but the site loads instantaneously for me. Try a spyware search and find out how fast your connection is.

Only the forums area was on maintanence for about 10 minutes for handeling a vbulletin database error.
