I'm guessing that its a hacked version and those are bad. I think IPB version 1.3 is still legal, and if you find it you could use it.
If you want to use phpbb2 then you just have to go into fantastico with this hosting, and just use that to install it.

nope not hacked i its not registered as long as i dont register it works
