Doom 3 Mapping..., need help...

Is there anyone who has some knowledge on mapping?I ned some help on making a Doom 3 map.my problem is:
1.I cant make a proper door.
2.I cant make a ladder

suggestion- i make maps for medal of honor spearhead and allied assualt
go to a site that has custom maps for downloads download one of them that includes what you need to spawn and use that scripting for your map
