does this mean even if you erased all the stuff in your hardrive you will recover it?

It usually depends.
If you have already used that space on your hard-disk with some other data, then there are very few chances of you being able to recover the lost data, but if nothing else has been written yet on that perticular address on the hard-disk then all that data can be recovered.

is it possible to recover deleted movies (689mb)?
well i think it is impossible
i think it hardly works for binary files
