How to get *invited* to 30gigs.com - By X3r0X
30gigs.com like gmail uses an invite system. This is where a current user will send a friend or other user an invite to use the service. The email is sent to their current inbox, with a link to activate a new account there. It may look something like this: ****://30gigs.com/accept/***/********. Once the user activates the account from the link, that invite becomes inactive and you cannot use it again. This can be a real pain in the rear end or anyone wishing to get into that exclusive little club!
So here is a short little step-by-step guide on how to get yourself an invite to 30gigs.com. Its not very big or complex, but hey it works!
-------------------------
1) Go to google.com
2) Using the "inurl:" feature, type "inurl:30gigs.com" and search for it. This will bring up several pages within the website 30gigs.com and allows you to see what pages they have indexed. You sould be able to see a directory within 30gigs.com (accept). Sounds alot like an invite directory doesnt it? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
3) Now with your knoweledge of the invite directory go a google search like this, "inurl:30gigs.com/accept" and look at the results. You should only see 2 (google as omitted similar results) so tell google to repeat the search with the omitted results included.
4) Now look at the links. There are around 7 or so invites! But unfortunatley as you may have just discovered **** them all that they have all been used. So is this tutorial a waste of time? NO! Google caches every page that they visit and index in their search engine. I wonder if they cached an invite when it was active...
5) Yep, they did! Go through and check out the cached versions of the pages. You should see that one comes up with the invite page, all ready for you to process yourself an account with!
