good and bad comment about the Reader

The Good
“The Reader” marks another Academy Award nod for Kate Winslet in the Best Actress category. With good reason, it has been said that she is the single most powerful pillar that keeps “The Reader” from falling apart, but that’s not all that makes this film so good. The photography and the performance of the rest of the cast, as well as the director’s painstaking effort to capture every fleeting emotion on the characters’ face, are also to be admired.
The Bad
The Academy does love its dramas, so it’s no wonder that “The Reader” got critics so thrilled. Should one not be in a mood for introspection and **** though, the entire film amounts to almost nothing, so it’s safe to say that this it is not for just about everyone, as it can prove too tiresome.
