IPB is not free anymore, what is just ridiculous, since people helped Invision all those years and this is what we get. I hate Invision.
phpBB is free, GPL, open source and all the buzzwords, but its full of security flaws. Not a wise choice.

I would rather use SMF than phpBB.

phpBB is the one i prefer, IPB IS better ataully, but I dont like it too much, and SMF is also very good, but it has 90& BAD graphics, phpbb has a lot ofgood ones
