Yes but then the template isnt uniqe and that is the part that almost always gets you a customer a unique and god lookin site ...

Thats really true.
If you want your own custom template,
make one yourself w/ everything you want.
I use the free templates and customize them with my Dreamweaver.

Don't know, but I always wondered what the difference between a "layout" and a "template" was. Or if there was one. "Layout" always sounds so much better to my refined ears.

CSS is basically a language like HTML
it stands for Cascading Style Sheets and it displays different output styles on your HTML ****. You have to learn or copy CSS codes and paste or type them into your HTML **** for them to change the styles of your ****.
In a Tamplate your given everything and jsut have to put in the writting and links. You need to know very basic HTML to fill in a tamplate. However if you want to make your own styles you need to learn Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). This has nothing to do with (pictures or w.e stated above).
