I play this game. It's pretty fun to have your score tracked globally and earn medals, ribbons and badges for your accomplishments.

Its a good game.
It requires a too powerful machine to run it, though (128+ MB video card, 512 MB RAM, 2GHz+).

They have just released a new patch (1.0.3); promoting you (thus allowing weapon unlocks) with less points, among other fixes and a new map, Wake Island.

Yeah, I play it and like it. I used to play BF1942, but the graphics on BF2 is so much better.
