i dont celebrate christmas or really any of the american holidays with the usual rabid consumerism. i just take the time to be with loved ones and be glad for what i have.
as for us salary, people here are rich and poor. the social class gap is widening greatly as our government has been co-opted by corporate interest and the rich elite class is becoming more and more disproporionate to the working class poor. soon we will have very very serious economoic problems as the dollar devalues and the us cannot compete on global markets.
