personally..i will format once my windows totally off...i don't care how long i have formatted it...i juz format i feel its needed....

I was formatting pc once a month.But now i am not formatting a lot.Like once 2-3 months.Not good to format a lot

I nvr format my computer, i´ve a different partiton where windows is installed, and i´ve a partition for downloading and installing softwares. So i run now and then superantispyware aand regfix to clean all unnecessary things on my pc.
I dont use any antivirus (used to use avg), most people think i´m stupid but i´ve nvr got a virus that the programs i have couldnt remove.
The pc i´m using now is almost 4 years and i´ve only format it ounce.

Hm, I usually format my HD about every two months or so.
For some reason the HD just fills up on is own.. which slows down my computer really badly.

well, i format my computer every 2 years or so on the windows side, on the Linux side barely ever, linux is just too darn clean!

i usually do it once a month as after a month my drives get messy and unorganized
