i think that there is something on yahoo domains a .com is only 2.99 per year.

I just paid full price with a popular domain site even after knowing better. The only difference between them is what they do once your domain expires (another story).

Im not to sure about free ones but I know godaddy.com is really chap and good. also if you want a good host go to purgehosting.com

That is not a domian you have them confused a domain is like this
http://www.yoursite.com but tk offers subdomains witch are
http://www.yoursite.tk.com
or
http://www.host.yoursite.com

they dont offer a subdomain, they offer a domain like
http://www.yourname.tk
the only difference between most domains is,that with tk u dont have a dns and that stuff.
Oh and u also get a banner on top of the page.

see this cannot be called a domin if it gives you a banner or any adds. also
http://www.yoursite.tk is redirection the only thing that is domain is .com, .net, .uk, .name, .org and so on. a good example of a domin is
http://www.google.ca and a example of a subdomin is
http://www.ghoztcraft.net/sharpie or
http://www.sharpie.myfreeforum.net
