I've read that CGI is not good because it starts 1 proccess per unique visitor - this can overload the system fast.
Most of the people like PHP because it is easy to learn and free; but if ASP wasn't commercial I would give it a shot too .

try asp and cgi 1st, if u still cant work fine with them, PHP is the best choise, simple, easy and editable

php is the best..u can use mysql and and many more thing.. its also easy and very secure server scripting language...

with the newest version of php coding and development is extrememly easy now with class calls.

PHP is the best because it's based off a the well know language C and it is very easy to use and learn.
