n00b question with subdomains.

I use my own domain akhil.co.in with smokyhosts hosting, but when I enter http://www.akhil.co.in on my address bar, the links all point to http://akhil.co.in

For example, If I have a link to a file called 1.html on my home page, I get http://akhil.co.in/1.html when I roll my mouse over the link and not www, even though the initial page is from www, anyone have an idea how to sort it out?

Man , there is nothing error with your web site and when I enter your site on http://www.akhil.co.in it still http://www.akhil.co.in there is no change , and also when I enter your site on http://akhil.co.in the link don't refer to http://www.akhil.co.in

So everything is OK .

True aalmighty...........Everything seems to be working perfectly even with www.

Please checkup once again, also if you still face problems, try to access it from some different browser and try it. I checked it up using IEv6.0 as well as Firefox v1.0.7 and from both of them things seem to be working perfectly with www.

it is the same as if you enter yahoo.com or http://www.yahoo.com
you will be get to the same place

if the domain is a new domain this kind of problem usually happens. but once the domain reaches a specific age then it stops.
