Why would you want them to make a movie?

Every movie I watch that is based off a game totally ruins the entire story and plus it's just awful to watch them tear it apart like that.

Well, if they kept it actually like the game was.. It might be worthwhile. But, I highly doubt it from all the others i've seen.

It probably won't be like the books seeing as the 28 days later screenwriter penned this one.
There have been a couple successful game to movie adaptations, but I'd say they commonly have much more success going from movie to games.
A big problem with game movies is that they rely on the game popularity and not good writing and character development to sell the movie or make it interesting. There could be good game movies, but most studios don't care about that. Halo might turn out decent because the people involved actually care about their work, who knows.

i don't think they will make a HALO movie, but it will be cool if they did

They probably will make one but so far, I haven't heard about much or seen anything. Hopefully next year.
