Just wondering if anyone here in the community has used IBM's OS/2. Way back in the days of Windows 95, IBM's official operating system was developing speech recognition, voice dictation/navigation and miles ahead of Windows on file systems, user interface and much more.
It's too bad IBM signed that deal with Bill to put Windows on all their PC's back in the day, or OS/2 would have thrived and people would have adapted it. It's a lot more like linux, just like Windows has started to follow now in windows 7 and windows 8.
Even OS/2 2.1 was as good as Windows XP, and was around before Windows95.
Any other nerds out there who's actually used OS/2?
Anyone here even heard of it?
