emails

Post by Tcoo »

I transferred my cpanel account from one server to another, and I'm just getting around to checking my email accounts. When I looked in cpanel left frame it says I have the right amount of email accounts, but when I **** email accounts option none of my emails are there. A little detail on what I did that might have caused this is I had to manually edit the httpd.conf file, and that's about it, I don't know if they were there before I edited it.

httpd.conf shouldnt have anything to do with emails. So your editing httpd.conf shouldnt have made any difference in this aspect.

The easiest you could do is, if you still have the backup file, you can delete the current account and again restore the backup file, hoping that cPanel will take care of any errors.

Otherwise, for such kind of incidents, you can always contact cPanel support at http://www.cpanel.net and they will help you fix the issue if it has anything to do with cPanel. However, let me tell you that they will only fix it if the error was caused by cPanel, and not a manual error, or caused due to mismanagement of your server.
