My PC is 3 years old but still running OK without formatting once. Just regularly run system maintenance tools and keep your antivirus software updated.

I use Yahoo!, Hotmail and Gmail. My Yahoo! e-mail address is the one I use most. I wanted Gmail badly in 2005 because of its huge (at that time) storage, but now its nothing compared to Yahoo!'s UNLIMITED storage.

Splitting files can also be done using WinZip or WinRAR.

WinRAR can compress and decompress ZIP and RAR files, while WinZip can compress and decompress ZIP files but can't compress RAR files.

I personally use both of them: WinZip for ZIP files and WinRAR for RAR files.

You can't even finish using 1 GB of inbox space if you use it solely for e-mail!

Windows OSes are the best so far, although they are expensive. I tried a few variants of Linux but generally dissatisfied with hardware compatibility, ease of use, software availability among other things.

If I've not coded my script wrongly, I've trouble sending e-mails using the PHP mail() function. It used to work a few months ago (I didn't test it until recently because I assumed it was working).

Anybody experiencing the same problem?
