I've tried to use SMF and found it seems to be rather large and laggy at times. When setting the board up, it would just stop responding and start spitting error codes at me. I have to go with PHPBB since it seems to be a little more user friendly.

Oh I like that! How does it work? Do you just put it in your PHP directory? I'm a little new to the web hosting theory, always just used EZboard before. **cringes**
