Season 8 of 24 was just plain disappointing. There's a reason why Fox decided to pull the plug on this once great show. Good call by the network. The last season just wasn't the same to watch. I enjoyed the first four seasons the best, true classic.

How many of you uses a web framework for building dynamic websites?

There are many to list but the one I use is Smarty template engine.

The best software I use is based on PHP Smarty template engines. Don't know what Smarty is? In a nutshell, smarty is a framework that separates content between the php scripts and html for better performance. See smarty.net for more details on this great program for building websites.

Do you have a favorite ftp client or do you let someone else upload your files?

My favorite ways are:

2. PSPad from PSPad.com
3. Filemanager inside your cPanel hosting account

My top two editors for programming websites are:

1. Notepad2 (Flos-Freeware.ch)
2. PSPad (PSPad.com)

I am a programmer who prefers to write compliant code based on W3C standards. This just keeps your code better informed.

I found AEF (ANElectron) to be quite nice.
