New AJAX Forum

Post by delivi »

The New updated Smokyhosts forum interface with AJAX tabs is a very good enhancement.

It reduces the amount of page to be scrolled down. The categorization into tabs helps a lot in finding the right threads easily.

Thanks a lot SHAdmin for the update. :)

Glad to know that you liked it.

BTW, that was my first vbulletin modification created on my own. lol.
Took me about 6 hours :). Now that it is done successfully, the modification can be redone within 5 minutes time, it is that easy.

It's very cool. I was so surprised when I saw it! It saves me scrolling up and down to see all the forums :)

Nice job, SHAdmin!

It is pretty nice, but an option to go back to the original way would also be nice. :)

Ajax is really Javascript so it is done with HTML (and then it sends requests to the PHP script).

Here is a VERY good example:

In order to not get off topic, you should create a topic in the Javascript forum. ;)

I agree with flipper an option to view the entire page must be available.
