Has anyone here seen "The Day after tomorrow"? I recently purchased the film, and really enjoyed it. I particulary liked the special effects, and ideas used. What are your thoughts on the film?

Kind of dopey. The special effects were good, but the premise is far-fetched.

i actually saw that movie, on dvd, way back, when it was first released in cinemas, great movie, great effect, maid me think alot, about what i'm gona do, if shit starts to come down, lol, plus it made me feel very cold.. haha

The movie is very under-rated. Critics say it stands right besides "Gigli", and that's real bad. Special Effects were cool, the characters were believable (Except from Jake "I do calculus problems in my head" Gylenhaal)
Not to mention the overly beautiful Emmy Rossum, Don't you guys think she's Beautiful?
