need advice

I have a compaq laptop v6211au and i need an effecient linux distro which supports all its harware components like wi-fi audia drivers etc. Which linux would OS software would be more efficient on this laptop.. You can see the detail configuration

kindly help as soon as possible... I want to change from windows vista to an efficient linux distro....

So if you are still in need of help, please post here the exact configuration/specs of your laptop and i am sure there will be many members in the community who will love to help you out.

I bought my laptop last year, or at the beginning of this year. Its a HP Pavilion dv9041. I am really happy with this laptop, never crashes, never laggs. Cost pretty much though, but you can get a good laptop cheaper than I got this, I decided I wanted a better graphic card than the "cheaper" models.

It shows some error. so correct it first
