Yeah this tutorial is a short tutorial made by me Gizza, just to show you how to mod the Halo 2 Content simple Projectile Swap.. then you should get the idea on making great Halo 2 mods. Also just a quick tutorial on FTP'n to your xbox.
Software needed:
- Dothalo
- FTP (FlashFXP)
- Halo 2 Saved on your xbox's HD
- .NET Framework Installed.
Hardware needed:
Modded xbox
Ethernet Cable
Instructions:
1. Download the software needed (Dothalo and FlashFXP)
2. Save Halo 2 to your xbox's HD (This can only be done with modded xbox's)
3. Install FlashFXP then open it up.
4. Go to settings on your xbox and look for your ip and put it in your FlashFXP Address bar.
5. Then add in username:xbox password:xbox (default) and Port 21.
6. Once FlashFXP has loaded into your xbox go to Games>Halo 2>maps> then choose a map you would like to do then transfer to your computer.
7. Open up Dothalo then go to File>Open Map then **** on the map you saved to your computer.
8. Ok in the "tags" menu go down to [weap] Weapons **** on the + sign then go to objects/weapons/pistol/plasma_pistol/plasma pistol.
9. Then go to the Windows called "Dependencies/LoneID/Reflexives".
10. Then in the large box go proj objects/weapons/pistols/plasma_pistol/projectiles/plasma_pistol_bolt.
11. Where it says Tag Class up the top go up til you find bipd tag. Then go to Dependencies/LoneID and choose either elite or masterchief. **** save changes once you have done that.
12. Go to the Map Tools bar and **** "Fix Encryption".
13. FTP the map back to your xbox.
14. Load up Halo 2 from your HD and play the map you modded set starting weapon as a Plasma Pistol and shoot and it shall shoot elites or masterchiefs depending on what you choose!.
