I will tell about my techniques here.
1.Press ctrl + alt + delete to open windows task manager.
Come process tab and select the checkbox below that says "Show all users..."Look at exe names.If you find a supcious exe there try to close it.
2.Check the regedit
Go start menu>run
write down "regedit" there.
Check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run keys with runonce runex too.
If there is something you dont know just delete it.Creators of this hacks may name them like system files so delete all except anti virus,firewalls,required drivers..This will speed up your pc anyways.
3.Check Start Menu>Startup if there is anything just delete it.
4.Check msconfig ; go Start Menu>Run write down "msconfig" come Startup tab and check the application names and paths there , delete all of supcious files like regedit.
5.Always have a good antivirus,antispy and firewall!

6.Dont take any files from untrusted persons , dont download from untrusted sites.
