You should be able to make your comp a dual bootable one with two operating systems.

hey don't use win98 because it is dead, I meant it is no longer active no updates and patches are available for it.

If you've a new computer less than 1.5 years old then most probably Win98 will not run in it. Win 98 has more bugs and less secure than Win XP stick with XP.

I know Win98 has some bugs but I have some old games that only run on 98 and compatability mode doesn't help

Most old games are able to be played on XP, I still sometimes play Fury 3 and it was built for windows 95. What games are you trying to use?

huh?..

I'm talking about a dual boot with 98 and XP and the games I am trying to run are old games that were designed for DOS

U can run games on xp as windows 98.
Just **** on the icon of the game,
**** properties
then go to compatibility
then **** `Run the program in compatibility mode for`
and choose for windows 98.

After that u will be able to play the game.
