i would suggest buying a book on it

it is easier to learn that way and more information

I'd like to learn PHP too, cause i cant find a Front Page type program that does PHP for free

Of cource you can not find such a programm, because such a programm does not exist. The best friend for you to create a php script is simple text editor, like notepad++ There is no WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor for php, that's not possible technicaly. PHP is programming, the same programming as java, vb, python or whatever else programming language. in all these mentioned languages you have to write a code by you own fingers, basicly there is no drag'n'drop WYSIWYG editors.

Guys, who knows what is php and how it works, plz help me to explain for our friends who doesn't know what is php and how it works. plz, because i dont know how else i could eexplain for them
